 - The hire period is for a total of 3 days (day of event, day before and day after)
- Hire goods will be delivered and collected personally by ourselves as agreed at the time of booking, either to an agreed address or to a mutually agreed pick-up-point. Delivery is to ground floor level only.
- On bookings over £25.00, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking - the remaining outstanding balance to be paid by cheque and received 14 days prior to the agreed date of hire.
- Bookings of £25.00 or less are to be paid in full at the time of booking.
- We will require a £100 damage deposit, payable by cheque, on all bookings which include Teapots, Coffee Pots, Cake Stands or Linens, payable on delivery of the hire goods to the hirer (hire goods will not be left until damage deposit is received by us). This will be returned to the hirer once the goods have been returned to us and checked for loss or damage.
- All hire goods remain the property of Flowers and Lace at all times during the period of hire
- The hirer is responsible for all hire goods whilst in their possession
- Flowers and Lace will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury which occurs as a result of the usage of the hire goods during the period of hire or whilst in the possession of the hirer.
- Breakages or damage will be charged at the replacement cost stated prior to hire
- Please be aware that the majority of our china is old and as such may not be absolutely perfect (ie. may have minor imperfections such as wear to gold trims etc). However, we will not supply any item we would not be happy to use ourselves and will not supply any chipped, cracked or crazed goods.
- Upon receipt of the goods the hirer will be required to check all items are in a satisfactory condition and provide a signature to this effect.
- Delivery is free within a 15 mile radius of Cottingham, East Yorkshire. Delivery outside of this area will be by arrangement only and charged at 40p per mile, to a maximum of a 50 mile radius of Cottingham, East Yorkshire. Delivery is to ground floor level only
- Please be aware that our china is fragile and not suitable for placing in a dishwasher - we are happy for you to wipe each item with a damp cloth, re-pack the china and leave the rest to us - at no extra cost to yourself
- Please re-pack all hire goods in a suitable condition for transportation with the packaging supplied.
- We reserve the right to substitute any item should we deem it unsuitable for hire - in such a case you would be advised by telephone prior to your hire
- We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time
